What a year!

Jennifer French arrived on our doorstep and blessed us with her magical hands, before we could finish browsing her portfolio we had hired her as our full time in house seamstress and added her to the team, perfect timing with our ever growing number of engaged brides.

Merging the Bridal Gallery and Curve Couture into one was by far the biggest challenge, renovation and moving all complete within 4 weeks and it was so worth it, our lovely old Bake House was transformed into perfect surroundings to house some of the most beautiful wedding dresses in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire with its cosy and characterful bridal feel just perfect for our Anna McDonald Brides to be.

Wendy Makin & Anoushka G where added to our list of designer dress labels, exclusive to Oxfordshire though proved to be popular with brides from all over the UK.
Bridal Buyer awarded Justin Alexander best in house designer and very well deserved as so many of our brides could not resist saying “I do” wearing one of Justin Alexander’s fabulous creations!

We could write all day about 2016, our buying trips to Barcelona and London have added to our memory book, but we must keep space for 2017 as we just know it will be even more amazing!
So on that note we would like to wish all our past, present and future brides and their families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy and exciting New Year!  We will close for the festivities on Saturday 24th December and open on Monday 2nd January 2017!  Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery will look forward to welcoming those newly engaged brides and those last minute 2017 brides thinking ‘I really do need to get my wedding dress sorted’
Love and Best Wishes Anna, Cait, Adele, Jen, Julie and Marie xxxx

All about Justin Alexander

Justin Alexander debuted on the bridal fashion scene as T&G Bridal in Brooklyn, New York in 1946, a time when women were renouncing the idea of clothing as mere necessity and embracing fashion as a way to express femininity, confidence, and beauty. Since its humble roots, Justin Alexander has become a contemporary designer and manufacturer of mid- to high-end bridal gowns and accessories. Each design is distinctly recognised for its vintage inspiration paired with progressive details. Recognising that a bride’s taste in fashion is as complex as the woman herself, the company has diversified itself to include the marquee collection Justin Alexander, in addition to the noteworthy designs of Justin Alexander Signature, Adore by Justin Alexander, Lillian West, and Sincerity Bridal.

All about Evie Young
