Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery sale days/weekends are known to be the best in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and brides from all around book their appointment to see, try and buy one of our beautiful dresses.  

Our sample dresses are in fabulous condition as we look after them very well, and we always have our super duper dressmakers on hand to discuss any alterations you may need before you decide on your dress.  

With over 40 dresses in our sale ( I know how ridiculous is that, but it's because we get carried away ordering new ones for the shop and we just don't have room for all of them)  Designers include Justin Alexander, Sophia Tolli, Charlotte Balbier, Paloma Blanca and Marylise.   A couple may be discontinued but the majority are current season dresses and we just have to say goodbye to them.

We allow and hour for our sale appointments so if you have an idea of what you are looking for that always helps,  
PLEASE don't make the SAMPLE SALE your first experience of buying your dress as there are bargains to be had but it has to be dress you love and want to wear on your wedding day not just because it's in the sale!

I would suggest making an appointment before hand to come and have a proper look and try on with one of our expert sales assistants for an hour and a half so that you can find the style that suits you and also a sneaky look at what will be in our sale!

Adele and I had a wonderful shopping trip on Monday to Chiltern Street in London.   We had an appointment with Johanna Hehir and her daughter Fianna to look at her new collection called Mae.  We instantly fell in love with her amazing dresses and felt that they were just perfect for our bridal boutique in Oxfordshire.  It was so easy to choose our collection and within two hours we had become Johanna's only stockist in Oxfordshire!  We will see her dresses arriving in about 12 weeks and we just can't wait.  Here is a bit about Johanna and an insight to her designs and thoughts behind her collections.

British born Johanna Hehir (pronounced Hair) has established herself over the past ten years as one of London's leading bridal designers. Her signature style is clean, unfussy, classic cuts with romantic detailing utilising the best quality European silks and laces.

Johanna is recognised as one of the UK's most innovative and talented designers. Her collections reflect the ever changing nature of the bridal market and the varied tastes and venues of today's brides. In addition to having a wide range of styles, Johanna also has that unusual ability to update classic styles in such a way, as to give them that touch of modernity that instantly appeals to contemporary brides.

Ever since she was a little girl, my daughter has inspired me with her sense of style. She grew up immersed in the fashion industry, she would play behind the senses in my workroom and was known to suggest styles for customers in my first store when she was only three years old.

Since she joined my team two years ago, I’ve been dreaming of designing a second label that combined her very individual style with my own for a new and exciting collection of dresses.

Finally, after much planning/designing/making the collection MAE by Johanna Hehir was born! Naming the collection was far simpler than we thought it would be. When my daughter suggested we use Mae (my second name), I knew it was a name that perfectly suited the type of girl who we envision wearing any one of the dresses from this collection.

The range is filled with contemporary dresses, for the modern bride looking for a simple, yet flattering cut. We’ve used soft georgette, silk crepe and gorgeous vintage laces. If i had to describe the collection in three words, they would be – fresh, feminine and elegant.

January is such an exciting time of year for us as we meet so many gorgeous girls getting married this year and next. It is a truly fabulous start to our year and with all our new stunning dresses ready to be tried we can't wait!

We always allow an hour and a half for your appointment to ensure that you get all the attention and advice that you need when looking and choosing your wedding dress.  This is such an exciting time one of which can take several months until you find "the one".  

If you would like to just come in and have a look at our collection and have a chat and make yourself familiar with our boutique please just ask.  It can be quite daunting at first and you may feel very overwhelmed but as soon as you have tried on your first dress you will be over excited to try more, I promise!

With new collections from Justin Alexander, Charlotte Balbier, Sophia Tolli and Marylise you will be spoilt for choice.

 How excited are we getting now!

Only a few days left and only two appointments left for our amazing sale this weekend.  We had 21 appointments available and just two left for Saturday 1st December.  If you have not already booked your one hour slot with one of very experienced members of our bridal team then please call us now.  We have got a cancellation list and are going to open on Sunday as well if we can't fit everyone in.  

With over 30 dresses in our sale ranging from £400 - £800 this is an event not to be missed!   If you want an early Christmas present ask your family and friends to buy you a gift voucher (£50) available to help towards your beautiful wedding dress.
